Revelation UK's team take part in Cultural Awareness Training

The Revelation team aspires to be at the cutting edge of event management and to do that we need to make sure we stay at the top of our game.

One thing that has become apparent since opening the office in Abu Dhabi is just how culturally different it is working in the United Arab Emirates. With our ME office team members being local and fluent in a number of different languages we have that side covered but what we wanted to do was make sure that the UK team's understanding of cultural and business practices in the Middle East was up to scratch as well.  This was made even more important with an increasing number of UK-based clients wishing to work in the UAE as well as an expanding portfolio of clients based in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the surrounding Emirates.

So to make sure we all understand the needs and requirements of clients local to the UAE and allay the concerns of UK clients taking their first big steps into the Middle East, we invited Kwintessential to give our UK team a one-day Cultural Awareness seminar.

Through a series of tasks, quizzes and discussions we learned a great deal and the entire team had a lot of fun. We also took away some very valuable knowledge and greater understanding of how we can work better to serve you and help you deal with any unexpected cultural differences that you may come across when putting on an event in the UAE.
