Revelation continues consultancy work for dmg World Media

After the success of last year, Revelation has been asked to continue their consultancy work for dmg World Media at Gastech 2008 and the European Annual Gas Conference (EAGC) 2007.

Before the Gastech conference last year, dmg World Media were advised by Revelation to appoint a local UAE based AV company to provide all the equipment and be present on site in order to overcome costs with shipping from the UK. It was Revelation's job to go and meet with the potential contractors, have each one pitch for the business, assess the tender documents and then pass on their recommendations to the operations team at dmg. The AV contractors selected were managed on site by the Revelation team.

dmg World Media's comments about Revelations performance at Gastech were very positive...

"Due to customs constraints we were obliged to use local AV equipment and crew for our 2500 pax conference in abu Dhabi. However, in order to make the link and ensure our own professionalism was adhered to by the local crew, we appointed Revelation to manage them and all production aspects of the event, including providing venue producers to manage each room and its speakers whilst in session. Thank goodness we did! Without revelations work ethic, keen eyes and utter dedication to their duties, things could have gone badly wrong onsite. They will now travel with us everywhere!"

Gastech 2008 is being held in Bangkok, so MD Matt Sims is off for a site visit later this month. While he is visiting the venue and liaising with the team he will also be sourcing local contractors again to carry out the AV work. Revelation will also be making a similar visit to Dusseldorf, Germany for EAGC 2007.
