Background

The Association of Exhibition Organisers (AEO) is a trade body representing companies that create, manage, market, sponsor or supply trade exhibitions and consumer events. The aim of the organisation is to increase the significance of exhibitions within the marketing mix. The association also forms part of the Events Industry Alliance (EIA) which is the marketing arm of the exhibition and events industry whose mission is to promote, grow and further professionalise the event marketing medium. Each year the AEO holds an annual conference and Revelation have been event managing and producing the event for 6 years.


Objectives

Each year the conference has grown and has a different focus; Visitor Attraction & Think Differently, Do Differently - A blast of Innovation & Future Forum. Revelation creatively reflects the theme into the whole of the actual event, via multi media and design. Of course each year needs to be bigger and better than the previous year, we were one of the first to display the 3-d plasma, delegate feedback ‘big brother' style, and have even created a future forest where delegates ate a picnic!


Solution

Revelation are responsible for organising the whole event, which includes the venue, registration, badging, delegate information, logistics, signage, speaker management, the event technical requirements, wireless networks, catering, floor plans, entertainment... really you name it and we either produce or manage it for the AEO Conference!

Revelation design and produce each event , including stage, set & lighting and ensure that the overall ‘look' of the event works in synergy with the AEO and sponsorship branding. Each AEO conference is supported by a number of title and key sponsors; we liaise with all sponsors pre event and ensure that they are represented fully on the day.

In addition to dressing the main conference room, Revelation create a sophisticated environment for the evening dinner and entertainment.

To ensure the smooth running of the conference Revelation provide an experienced on-site production team, this includes the technical crew, event management crew, a speaker preview room, operational support and runners.
