Background

Revelation & Imago have been event partners since 2002, working together on various projects. Imago’s expertise lies in the ‘provision of outstanding events, publishing and research which brings technology solutions to the market in an understandable format' and as Revelation's expertise lies in creating amazing events, the relationship works extremely well.

The latest event that the two companies partnered on was IP06, on which Revelation worked with the organiser and the exhibitors.


Organiser

As the exhibition organisers, Imago & the Revelation team are in constant contact about all their exhibition requirements. Revelation are there to take the pressure of Imago so that they can concentrate on effective promotion of the event; they do this by organising the pre-exhibition planning , technical support and AV equipment hire.

As events come around so quickly everyone has to make sure that they do everything that they need to do by a certain time, that is why early on in the planning process Revelation create deadlines for both companies to stick to. Pre event, Revelation will coordinate all the logistics surrounding the exhibition, this means the transportation, deliveries, pick up’s and crew etc. Plus as Health & Safety is so important these days, Revelation do all the necessary checks as well as making sure all the aspects of the exhibitor manual required are completed.

Revelation provide Imago with technical support pre event by advising Imago as to what equipment they should display and also onsite, when technicians are on hand to make sure the event runs smoothly. As Revelation’s technical knowledge is second to none this is a pretty invaluable service.

Imago provide AV equipment to exhibitors as part of a package and this is kit that is hired from Revelation. Members of the team are on site to manage the Equipment.

A huge benefit to Imago is that they only receive one invoice from Revelation - not 20 suppliers!


Exhibitor

For the exhibitors at Imago’s events, Revelation take the stress out of their job too. Revelation stay on top of technical advances so are in a position to offer the best solution to each and every exhibitor.

Ordering the equipment is easy and it is bought to the venue the day before and installed for them hassle free. Revelation provide all sizes of current plasma screens, as well as the latest projectors, video walls, stage sets and audio, whilst also being able to source a lot of other equipment through the contacts they have built up.

Some exhibitors are after bespoke stand designs and as Revelation are well experienced in this it is something that they help exhibitors with, providing ideas are as CAD drawings. Other exhibitors are interested in modular systems, panels & poles/ pop-ups which is fine because Revelation can fulfil these requirements too.


Results

Imago were very pleased with the results of the exhibition and felt that it was a great success. They were also impressed with the planning and the onsite performance of the Revelation team.
