NTP Events, Partners in Learning

Background

NTP Events, an event management company, were the organisers of Partners in Learning, the first conference and exhibition dedicated to the work based learning market. The event, held at the NEC, Birmingham, brought together learning providers, employers, colleges and awarding bodies to address current skills gaps and improve the delivery of vocational training.


Objectives

The challenge was to provide NTP Events and Partners in Learning with cutting edge technological support to run the conference and exhibition effectively and innovatively.


Solution

Revelation Event Management were appointed official Audio Visual contractor to NTP Events, Partners in Learning and their exhibitors. The expertise Revelation has in Audio Visual technology allowed them to meet the needs of the conference and exhibition.

Revelation provided a number of services; staging for the conference in the NEC Concourse suite as well as a seminar area on the exhibition floor, with stage, set and plasma screen. This was designed to be an open plan area in order to encourage delegates to take part and interact in seminar sessions.

In addition, Revelation supplied a live video link to the conference of Charles Clark, Education Secretary. Mr Clark, who couldn't attend the event in Birmingham, agreed to give his talk to the conference from his London base.


Results

The Partners in Learning conference and exhibition was a very successful event.

The Event Manager from NTP Events stated " Congratulations on the excellent service. The services supplied, including AV equipment for the conference and a seminar theatre at the exhibition, were all to a very high standard. The onsite manager for Revelation and the level of service offered was once again excellent. No request was too much and no problem too hard to solve."
